What we collect

Visitors of the weather pages: no account, no advertising, no analytics tracker. Our servers keep technical logs (IP address, page, date, browser) to run and protect the service. API customers: e-mail address, optional name, password (stored as a hash), API key and daily request counts.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers.

Cookies

Only a session cookie, set when you log in to your API account. No advertising or tracking cookies.

E-mails

We send e-mails only for your account: your API key at sign-up and password resets.

Retention

Technical logs are kept for a few weeks. Account data are kept while the account exists and deleted on request.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data at support@rainatlas.com.

Hosting

The service is hosted in France (OVH).
